Chapter 12: Comfort
~
ROXAS' POV
~
I sat on my bed and glared at the white floor. My cheeks were still slightly pink, I could feel it.
Why does Axel do that?! I HATE him so much! I can't STAND him! I hope he DIES!
I took a few deep breaths to calm my burning temper.
But... I don't want him to die I just... He always... Whatever, I don't care about him... Do I? That's not possible, Nobodies don't have hearts.
I heard my door open gently and I was surprised to see Sora instead of Axel.
"Hey, are you ok Roxas?"
"Fine." I muttered and turned my head away from the brunette.
I felt Sora sit down next to me on my bed. Whatever, I don't care.
"You seem upset." I heard him stat.
No shit.
"I'm FINE." I said sternly.
"You are not, liar." Sora retorted.
I turned to him and glared so intensely that he flinched.
I looked at him hard, staring deeply into his innocent, sapphire eyes. Instantly I softened and stopped glaring.
Something about his eyes comforts me, very strange.
"I didn't mean to get angry at you Sora, I'm sorry. It's Axel that I should be angry at." I murmured, looking at the floor.
"Well I deserved that since I pounced on you too."
"But you got off of me, Axel didn't."
"Why were you so angry at Axel?"
I closed my eyes and sighed replying, "Because he... he... makes me feel... odd. When he touches me I feel so odd, I never get that feeling with anyone else. Besides; Nobodies have no hearts so how are we supposed to feel?!"
"Have you discussed this with him?"
"No but-"
"Roxas, he might be feeling the same too. Go find him and talk to him."
I opened my eyes and turned my head to Sora, my lips forming into a faint smile.
"Thanks Sora, I hope you find your memories soon."

I actually meant what I said, well... half meant it. If he finds his memories he will possibly wipe all us Nobodies out, completely. He will re-join with light again and I might... disappear forever, that's what Xemnas said.

SORA'S POV
~
I was lying on Roxas' couch, a blanket was over me and one of Roxas' pillows under my head. This was my 'bed', I'm not complaining though, it's quite comfortable.
I turned my head to his bed where he was quietly sleeping with a troubled look on his face.
Must be a nightmare I guess...
I wiggled around and got comfortable, soon closing my eyes.
Axel, Roxas and I got a mission from Xemnas that we will do in some place called The World That Never Was. The name is unfamiliar.
Apparently that place is under this castle! I wonder what this castle looks like from the outside?

I looked around as I walked, nothing but white surrounded me.
My clothes were strange; baggy, black shorts and a black jacket, yellow belts and a navy-blue vest with a red pouch.
"Wake up... " An urgent, male voice said.
I jumped at the sound of a voice, unfamiliar.
"Why? I'm asleep!" I replied, looking around for the source of the voice.
"He does not understand Terra." A female voice said.
"Wake up Sora. Your memories need to wake up. You have to remember." A new voice said, sounding sort of like Roxas but not.
"It won't work Ventus, he will never get his memory back at this rate." 'Terra' said.
"Show yourselves!" I demanded.
"Sora... be careful." 'Aqua' said.
"Follow your heart Sora, it should guild you." 'Ventus' added.

I woke up with sweat on my brow and I wiped it off. I shook my head and held a hand to my heart with was beating fiercely, slowing down bit by bit.
I saw that my other hand was clutching my pendant and I let go.
Another vision or was it a dream?
"Sora... Are you ok?"
I looked to Roxas' bed to see him wide-awake and sitting up.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine." I said with a cheerful smile.
He shook his head and got out of bed, walking over to me.
I noticed that it was still dark (the Organisation turn the lights on when it's 'day' but it is always dark outside).
"You're not fine, I can tell by your eyes." The blond said, looking down at me from his spot.
"Neither are you! You had a nightmare too!" I protested.
Roxas frowned and he shook his head in denial.
I sighed and then smiled.
I grabbed Roxas and pulled him on the couch with me in a hug.
"HEY! Get off!!!" Roxas growled, struggling and his face was red.
I laughed and let the angry teen go.

"You really hate getting touched don't you?" I asked, sitting now on the couch.
Roxas huffed and sat next to me, not too close.
"It's not that it's just..." He trailed off, glaring at the white floor.
"What Roxas? It's just what?" I asked.
"I've never... you know, had anyone before to hug me and stuff. I'm not use to it and it feels..."
"Weird?"
"Odd."
"Odd?"
"I actually feel something nice when I'm hugged. It feels odd."
I smiled and hugged Roxas, wrapping my arms around his upper body.
Roxas didn't protest this time but he shuddered at the touch.
"You still haven't talked to Axel about your feelings yet." I said, still hugging Roxas.
"I know. I'm trying to find the right time to do it. Maybe during our mission." The blond said.
I wonder if I had feelings for someone before I lost my memories?

"Sora,"
It had been a few minutes of silence and I was still hugging Roxas who didn't complain.
"Yes Roxas?"
"Are we... friends?" He asked timidly.
I put on a huge smile and replied, "Of course silly! Axel is my friend as well!"
"But... you hardly know us, what if we're bad?"
"It doesn't matter; nothing can change the fact that Axel and you are my friends, even if you two hurt me."
Roxas smiled and he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me as well murmuring, "Thank you."

RIKU'S POV
~
Where is he?! I have to find him before those Nobodies do something to him!
I wore a black cloak and a black blind-fold over my eyes to hide my identity.
I ran through the rain and raced on the rooftops of The World That Never Was, trying to find the connection to my old friend's heart.
I jumped over a ledge and landed skilfully on another ledge. I walked to the edge of the roof and scanned the ground below.
Nothing but Heartless and puddles.
I can control the Heartless and I was forcing them to look for any sign of my friend's heart. He has to be around here somewhere! I've been waiting so long to see him again even if I do have to destroy him, at least I'll be able to see him.

I shook my head.
No, I don't want to hurt him. I don't think I could ever destroy him ether but I have to, it's my duty as the Dark One to destroy the Chosen One. If I don't then... I would fail Ansem. He has given me so much like power and a purpose.
Without Ansem and the Heartless I would be... pathetic. A weak teenager.
Without Sora I would be... what would I be? I would be... nothing.
I will find a way to turn Sora to the darkness and we can be together again, just as it used to be without that brat Kairi.

We're hoping to have some action in the next chapter.

Ansem (KH) Xemnas (KH2) and the mysterious Xenenort (KH BBS). Can't be bothered finding the correct spelling.

LAI: So we decided to add Ventus, Terra and Aqua into the mix too. It was just a random choice really.

DAI: *falls asleep*

MHML: POKE! *pokes DAI*

DAI: *hisses*

LAI: Great, now we have a vampire to deal with.
